After an article is adopted, authors are invited to complete a Journal Publishing Agreement. The adoption of the agreement will ensure that the information is disseminated as widely as possible. Copyright is transferred to the company when the manuscript is adopted for publication. For resale or distribution outside the establishment and for all other derivative works, including compilations and translations, company authorization is required. If excerpts from other copyrighted works are included, the author or authors must obtain written permission from copyright holders and credit the source or sources in the article. Authors can reproduce abstracts or create lists of articles, including abstracts for internal trafficking within their institutions. The publisher`s agreement is required for resale or distribution outside the Institution and for any other derivative work, including compilations and translations. If excerpts from other copyrighted works (including illustrations and paintings) are included, the author or authors must obtain written permission from copyright holders and include the source or sources in the article and include them in the bibliography. In these cases, Elsevier preprinted use forms by the authors. Rev Esp Cardiol attributes the author criteria for scientific papers defined by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors. Therefore, authors must have: Submission procedures Manuscripts can be presented in either English, Portuguese or Spanish. RBTI is published in a Portuguese paper version and a Portuguese and English electronic version. Authors are not charged a fee for the evaluation or publication of the manuscripts.
The journal translates the articles presented in Portuguese (or Spanish) and the translation costs are covered by the journal. The articles presented in English are translated into Portuguese by the journal, without the authors having any fees. All articles must be submitted electronically to: mc04.manuscriptcentral.com/rbti-scielo authors must send to the Journal: Letter of motivation – It should contain a statement that the article is original, has not been filed in another journal for publication or not. The authors should also indicate that the study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee (REC) of the institution in which the study was conducted (or a reference REC), mentioning the number of registrations and, if applicable, a declaration that consent was knowingly obtained or exempted by the REC. If necessary, authors may be asked to submit a copy of the CSR approval during the peer review process. Conflict of interest statement – Authors must download the corresponding form (download here) and download it after the authors are signed during the submission process. This declaration prohibits scientific documents from promoting or promoting commercial products or devices, in accordance with the decision of the Federal Council of Physicians No. 1595/2000.
Funding – During the submission process as well as on the first page of the manuscript, information on possible sources of research is required.
